How HomeHire works

HomeHire helps US families and household professionals connect directly in three steps: confidential brief, structured profiles, and direct introductions.

1. Confidential household brief

Household briefs are private unless the family chooses to publish a public job listing. Public listings show only the role, town/ZIP area, schedule, pay range and start date — never the family's name, address or contact details. Permanent, part-time, temporary, and one-off roles are all in scope.

2. Structured professional profiles

Candidates present relevant experience, availability and written answers, and control their discoverability. Families review structured profiles and choose whom to interview.

Families hire directly, are the employer and do their own checks. Contact references, verify identity and right to work yourself, interview and agree a paid trial. Read our safety & hiring tips.

3. Direct introductions and decisions

Families decide whom to contact, interview, and hire. Workers and families agree on the engagement directly. HomeHire is the introduction platform, not the household employer.

The hiring family is the employer. HomeHire does not employ household workers, run payroll, or hold wages. Families and workers agree on pay and work directly.
